Leon Burmeister is the associate editor for statistics for Obstetrics & Gynecology, focusing on obstetrics and gynecology. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Dr. Burmeister has covered the epidemiology of cancer deaths in Iowa farmers, the drinking water quality in rural Iowa, epidemiology of occupational health, biostatistical methods in clinical trials, and theory of design of sample surveys. [CR-LF][CR-LF]He is also a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Public Health Association, the American Statistical Association, the Biometric Society, the Iowa Chapter of the American Statistical Association, and the Society for Clinical Trials. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Burmeister studied at Iowa State University and is a professor at the University of Iowa, in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health.
