Sonja Bailes is a reporter and an anchor for 3 News at KTBS-TV. She is a consumer and investigative reporter. She began her career in Shreveport, La., in 1995. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to KTBS-TV, Bailes worked for three years at KNOE-TV in Monroe, La., as a reporter and anchor. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Bailes is a board member of the Shreveport Journalism Foundation. She earned numerous awards. Bailes was given first place honors from the Louisiana Associated Press for investigative reporting. She was twice-named Consumer Reporter of The Year by the Shreveport-Bossier Better Business Bureau and received the Altrusa Award by the Volunteers of America.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Bailes grew up in Bossier City, La. She is married and has a son.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Bailes attended Louisiana Tech where she graduated with a journalism degree in 1992.
